Communication

Keep teams talking in hazardous areas

Ordinary phones and radios can ignite flammable gas or dust.

Realix communication devices are built to intrinsically safe standards, which limit the electrical and heat energy inside the device so it cannot become a source of ignition.

We supply three kinds of device. Most sites use more than one.

RxAltitude IS tablet

Ex-mobiles

Smartphones and feature phones certified for hazardous zones. Workers get calls, messages, cameras and field apps without leaving the safe area to use a normal phone.

Two-way radios

Rugged radios for instant group calls on site. Used by operations crews on oil and gas sites and by police in the field.
